Renew an ITIN

We are authorised by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to assist you in applying for your ITIN. Contact us to start the process.

Benefits of working with us to renew an ITIN

We provide an efficient and convenient service that does not require you to send your original documents to the US, saving time and eliminating the risk of them being lost in transit.

Check if your ITIN has expired

There are a number of reasons why your ITIN might have expired. In recent years, there
have been rule changes regarding ITIN expiry dates. This means that your ITIN may have
expired according to rules that were not in effect when you originally applied or last
renewed.

Your ITIN has expired if:

  • the middle digits are between 70 and 88 (eg. 9NN-88-NNNN).
  • it was assigned before 2013, and has not since been renewed
  • it has not been used to file US taxes at least once in the last 3 years

Contact us to speak to one of our Agents for further guidance regarding what happens when an ITIN expires and how to renew an ITIN.
